She's Mine Chapter Two
'D'ya hear Dave's trying out for the musical?' Ben Rush says to me during maths.
'You're kidding?'
'Nah. I don't blame him, either. It's a good way to meet girls. I'm thinking about trying out myself.'
'Can you even sing?'
'Nope. But I'm hoping for a part where I don't have to. Like maybe a tree.'
'In that case, I'm going for a part, too.'
'What as?' he asks.
'A dog.'
We laugh.
'Boys,' says Mr Link. 'I'll be over in a minute to check on your work.'
We go back to do out sums, then Ben whispers, 'Hey, will you come with me to the try-outs?'
'Yeah.'
Although there's no way I

She's Mine - Chapter One
As we wait in the canteen line, Dave and I tell each other jokes.
'How do you get a baby astronaut to go to sleep?'
'How?'
'You rocket.'
We laugh really hard.
'Spell "icup" and say "all night long",' says Dave.
'I-C-U-P all night long.'
Dave chuckles.
'I don't get it,' I say, before suddenly I do. I punch him in the arm and we laugh again.
Dave and I think the same, probably because we've grown up together. He moved across the road six years ago, back when I was still talking in my sleep, and we've been friends ever since. Though things have been changing a bit lately. Since we started hig

Kaine Evans hates everything about school.
He hates spelling. He hates English, and he hates reading books. He loathes Maths and Science. He hates Art. He's never liked recess because it's too short and hates lunchtime because it's always crowded in the yard. He hates Sport because Mr Scott always yells at his students.
Kaine hates mornings when his classmates feel they have to gabble on about what they watched on TV, and he doesn't like afternoons because people are always blocking the corridors.
He even hates the smell of school. Does anybody else notice? How can you like school when your classroom smells like sweat and pe

'What?' I stared at him. 'How come you were wearing Mum's undies?' All the horrible thoughts came in my head but I could see Harley getting upset so I pushed them away. 'Come on, Harley, you can tell me.'
'It was on the morning we were late for school because Jess dropped that jar of honey on the floor. I grabbed my jeans and undies out of the washing pilled, and dressed quickly. I thought they were mine.'
'Err... which ones were they?' Mum had some favourites that I knew about and I hope he hadn't worn those pairs, because they had frills all over them.
Harley's face went red. 'They were the ones Grandma Carrie gave her, wi
Charlie the fish swam around Port Phillip Bay, searching for something. He was searching for a girlfriend.
For ages now Charlie had been trying to find the right female fish to be with, but every time he did find a lovely fish to be with, they'd swim off.
Other female fish already had boyfriends. Some were a different species of fish and Charlie's dad, president of all fishes, wouldn't allow any fish to break his rule: No fish is allowed to be involved with another species. So most fish stuck together barramundi, salmon, etc
Then one day, Charlie noticed a lovely female fish. Even better, she was a salmon species just like Cha

This has to be it. There is no way it can't be. I've been tracking her since she left the apartment. Why won't she answer? Did Aer tell her who I am? Grr...Just answer!
All these thoughts ran through Kim's mind as she sat in her police-issue mustang. Her phone was next to her ear as she called J's cellphone. It seemed like the phone was ringing forever. The ring was a standard cellphone ring, annoying pitch and all. Eventually, it began to hurt her head as the blaring ring struck her ear drums. She endured the pain with the motivation that it will be over soon.
"Hello?" said a voice from the other end of the phone. Kim's hea

Mrs. Avery - Chapter 1
The bar stank of stale cigar smoke and spilt alcohol. The light was dim, barely scattering dull yellow flickers on the grimy walls as tinny melodies from the jukebox mingled with hushed whispered and growled threats. He sat at the counter, dark hair almost blending in with the gloom, nursing a single drink golden drink in half-frozen hands. The cash in his pocket was meagre but heavy, burning, as he thought and rethought his options. He barely had enough to scrounge a bed for one night, and breakfast was going to be an exercise in tongue-twisting. He'd have to move on soon, try his luck in another town unless some miraculous offer turned up.
Chapter 1.
I sat in the backseat of my dad's car with my iPod on, blasting Three Days Grace, to drown out the sound of my dad's classical music. My brother, Devin, sat in the front. He had his headphones in, so he probably was blasting his music too. Neither him nor' me liked our dad's music, plain and simple.
I looked out my window and watched the trees go by as dad drove to Blue Waters Academy. My dad was the Dean of the school, and we usually had to go a week before so we could get ready for the students coming.
But, since he was the Dean, he enrolled Devin and I in the school. There were only 2 problems with his thinking:

It is 5:31 A.M. and in precisely one hour seventeen minutes the Sun will rise. I can already feel its warmth, it is heavenly. I am trying to think of when I last saw a sunrise. I can't.
My name is Charles Michael Edwin Claremont and I was born on the fifth of October, 1911. Today is my ninety-ninth birthday. Today my wife, Elizabeth, died. I sat next to her as she lay in bed. I could feel the life drain from her body, could see the light leave her eyes. I did not call an ambulance; they could not help her. I called my son, Jonathan. He lives approximate

Wow its been almost 3 years since I've been on this. So many messages and stuff like that.
Gonna have to try and work my way around this site again as I've forgotten most of it
Having been on a break from deviant art for a while, i've decided to come back, planning on upload some new stuff, including stories. I've been in the mood lately to do more writing.
I hope everyone had an awesome christmas and a happy new year.
